Who founded ProLocum?

ProLocum was founded by three doctors: Dr. Indresh Pal (Founder and CSO), Dr. Gajanan Jaiswar (Co-founder and CEO), and Dr. Nepram Khelsana (Co-founder and COO). They built it after hospitals filled locum shifts over WhatsApp, including last-minute leave and festival roster gaps.

What does locum mean in Indian hospitals?

Locum (from locum tenens) means a qualified clinician who temporarily covers another practitioner's duties. In India this usually means a single shift, a weekend, a festival week, or a short block of days — not a permanent job. ProLocum is built for that shift-level market, not for full-time recruitment.

Who can join ProLocum as a doctor?
